What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Hi, my name is john and I'm homeless. I' am 39 years old and have worked since I was 16. In my last job I was seriously injured and this eventually led to my being homeless.

I love reading, playing online MMORP's and tabletop wargamming, my reading interests are fantasy, science fiction, pirates and science/physics, and have written a paper on physics concerning the nature and consequences of light, the speed of light including but not limited to the effects of travelling at the speed of light, the various paradoxes that can occur, time travel theory, blackhole/wormhole theory, string theory, dark matter and the multiple special dimensions theory.

Although I'm homeless (being told I' am some way down on the list for housing, not having any mental health/drug or alcohol problems, and do not claim benefits) I spend my time working online doing surveys, some product testing and little website testing jobs, also some writing jobs. However the tablet I use is now broken and waiting for parts, but to help me work more and get back on my feet I'm looking for help in getting a laptop, I had one previous which was stolen last year while sleeping rough in London.

So if you would like to help it would be much appreciated.

Thank you.
