Due to the Corona situation we at www.yarakbirdsofprey.co.uk are now following government guidelines regarding social distancing and have had to close our doors until told otherwise which could be 6 months or more. We have had to cancel thousands of pounds worth of bookings so are now left with very little incoming finances. We are hoping for help from the Government but have been told that could take months to sort out. In the meantime our income has virtually been wiped out. Our birds are our biggest priority and given the current situation we need to raise funds to help provide food for them and running costs over the coming months. 15 of our birds mostly Owls have been purchased by myself to get them away from environments that were totally unsuitable and detrimental to there well being. Some kept in Parrot Cages, a Dog Kennel, a Shed with no windows and living amongst machinery. The last thing I want is to not be able to provide for them and they end up in the same situation they were before I purchased them. I have always returned all profits back into the centre and the birds and never thought this day would ever come where I had to ask for help. We have 32 birds here that get the best food and care possible and we want to do the best by them in this difficult time. Any amount that you can spare will be very much appreciated and spent solely on the birds and running costs so they don't suffer. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
