I've raised £2000 to help towards funding a working trip to Nepal where I’ll work on a number of much needed building projects as a result the 2015 Earthquake.

Hello - I was very moved back in 2015 at the terrible effects of the earthquakes in Nepal - my sister and mother had recently visited Nepal and they found the people welcoming and very humble, with many already having very little and living in relative poverty. the earthquake was devastating and its effects continue.
I have for sometime been wanting to volunteer in a way that is meaningful- so I want to put my strength and plumbing skills to good use and belive I could do so in Nepal where there remain numerous building and repair projects that will help people get their lives back together. I am therefore taking unpaid leave from my work for 3 weeks in December and plan to be away and doing something helpful over the Christmas period.I have chosen a reputable company to do this with that being Projects Abroad. I would very much appreciate any help that you feel you can give.
