Story

Our Charity specifically promotes healthy recreation for the public benefit. In particular, by providing assistance and facilities for organising the playing of cricket and other sport and games capable of promoting health in the community. (‘Facilities’ in this regard means land, buildings, equipment, personnel and know-how).

Sport brings people together from all backgrounds and teaches us to help and communicate with others whilst participating in a healthy environment. However, the facilities are not always there for everyone and our charity is dedicated to providing financial assistance where it is needed.

The charity is named in honour of Andrew Fisher who most of Oxfordshire (and beyond!) know dedicated his sporting life to participating, coaching and enjoying sport, especially cricket. Andrew typically played to win, but always with a smile on his face and a quip for both his team mates and opponents.

Unfortunately, Andrew was taken from us all too soon, aged just 52, and it is testament to his popularity that all who knew him want to continue his legacy through this Charity.

If you could pass on our message and help us promote the Charity it would be much appreciated.

Thank you
