Story
AFC Harrogate have challenged the Junior Soldiers to run 20 miles in a month in aid of NHS charities, starting on the 27th of April. As a member of Permanent staff I have decided to run 20 miles in 1 day to raise money for Lambton Street Boxing Club where my dad John Pollock was a coach.

4 years agoWe handed the cheque to Gary at Lambton Street ABC this morning, I just want to say a final thank you to everybody who donated and everyone at the club. You all meant the world to my Dad and he would be so proud :) david and family x

4 years agoI set out to do 20 miles today but i knew my Dad would be saying why not just do a marathon so thats what i did! It was hard work but what a beautiful morning and the support of my family spurred me on. When I made this page i planned on handing in the money with my Dad but sadly that cant happen so I will do it with the rest of the family and make sure all the people at Lambton Street know how much they mean to us and our Dad. Thanks to everybody who has donated at this difficult time, i promise your money is going to a great club! David x
