This is my friend and incredibly strong woman, loving mother and doting wife. Who was sadly diagnosed with terminal cancer. She has now exhausted all other treatment available to her. She has many goals to achieve still and is rapidly running out o options.

Today she has asked for volunteers to help raise funds through events and sponsorship......to speed things up I've created this page for her.

This is her plea.......

"On Wednesday I will be starting a new treatment regime. Things haven't been going so well recently but again all will be explained when I fill in the full description.
My treatment will be consisting of 3 drugs. This is ok and is standard treatment. However, my oncologist feels it would be beneficial for me to have another drug.
This is called Lapitinib. Unfortunately it is not available on the NHS because of various factors including and above all, the cost.
In order for me to have this possibly optimal treatment, I am going to have to fund it myself.
I've not got the detailed costings yet, but it's is likely to be well in excess of £3000 every month.
An inconceivable amount of money!
But wouldn't you try?!..."
