We are not a charity or special cause. Just a family where my wife has lost her (well paying) job due to ill health.
She got a bit of a payout but not much and has now been effectively black listed within that group of companies and role.
Without proof or expensive lawyers we can't prove any of this. My job doesn't pay what it used to or anywhere near what my wife used to earn.
We've cut back our spending as much as we can but have also managed to run up some bills and then those everyday things crop up like car repairs and our property service charge going through the roof.
Little things become a major decision, like buying a new kettle because this one won't shut and sometimes spills boiling water.
Or having to switch on the washing machine in a certain way to get it to come on.
Don't get me started on school uniforms!
We're not a special cause. Just a family trying to get through what is hopefully just a rough patch.
