Story

I hate running, so I am attempting to run 2,500km in a year to raise funds to split between the SSPCA and Neil's Hugs.

The SSPCA has given me the two greatest gifts of my life in Tyson and Ronnie. Dogs are the absolute best and those two pups really have helped me when I've been down as well as just being the best dogs and friends I could've asked for! The SSPCA do great work helping animals all over the country and I would like to give back to them as a thank you for giving me my two boys!

Which brings me on to Neil's Hugs. Undoubtedly the lowest point of my life came when I got the news that Tyson had terminal cancer. I never knew pain like it. He was my world, he came absolutely everywhere with me and I genuinely didn't know what I was going to do without him. I reached out to Neil's Hugs after a recommendation from a friend, where I was put in touch with a grief counsellor. She helped prepare me for when Tyson's time would come and carried on sessions beyond his passing. I can safely say I wouldn't have made it through without the help from Neil's Hugs.

It was also when I picked up Ronnie from the SSPCA, so between the two, they helped me through the worst time of my life and I feel it is time to give back!

Any donations would be greatly appreciated!
