This is Paul Copper,

He's just turned 50.

Paul has been a Firefighter and Watch Manager for over 25 years. Many of us have had the pleasure of working alongside him. He is very much loved and by his family, friends and the countless firefighters he has worked with over the years, both in Essex and Hertfordshire.

Paul contracted sepsis, a rare but potentially deadly infection, which has quickly attacked his organs including his brain.

He is currently living with his father with the support of his sister The prognosis for Paul is not good, but he will fight.

This Just Giving page has been set up to help, in some small way, with the things Paul will need during his recovery and for the rest of his life. Donations, no matter how small all add up, so please, lets give him the best chance we can, you know he would for you.
