Story

Cpl Jonathan Bayliss was tragically killed in an accident at RAF Valley in Wales, on March 20th 2018.

Jon was one of the engineering team of the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, The Red Arrows, fulfilling a boyhood dream to serve with the World-famous jet display team.

Even though the pilots and aircraft are often considered the public face of the Red Arrows, the pilots themselves acknowledge that without the entire team, including all the support staff and engineers, the team cannot fly.

Jon was lauded by his colleagues as the epitome of professionalism and for everything that the Red Arrows and the RAF stands.

The money raised here will be donated to Jon’s family as an additional means of support through what must be a very difficult time.

Please help support this campaign as a way of thanks to all the personnel who serve in the RAF in whatever role they perform, facing daily risks to keep us safe and continue to help promote the very Best of British.

Mr Simon Puddle of Sure Accounting Ltd, Ferndown, Dorset, has kindly offered to independently administer the funds for this appeal. http://www.sure-accounting.co.uk
