Jon Cannon has recently had a major operation, at very short notice. He is now undertaking invasive treatment, which means that he won't be able to work this side of the summer.

Many of us have enjoyed his day schools and courses at Villiers Park and through Martin Randall etc., these being on cathedrals, churches and medieval architecture generally, and we would like to repay the joy we have received through these programmes of education by contributing to a 'get well soon' present e.g. time away for him and his family. Through this gift, we hope to give them something to look forward to during the difficult days ahead.

With respect to my link to Jon, the day schools were originally under the auspices of Bristol University but, following the funding being stopped for these, I took on the task of organizing 3 - 4 day schools annually for the last 7 years at least, with Jon delivering the lecture and tour itself.
