Jon leaves behind his wife Lauren, and two young daughters, Isabella and Francesca.

Jon was a kind-hearted person who was committed to his work as a police officer. Jon worked in Salford and Trafford before he worked as a Force Incident Manager and then in the violence reduction unit on Opreation Venture. Jon was highlighted for a lot of good work he did in these roles, often featuring in press articles for postive changes and work his teams carried out through his leadership.

Jon also carried out charity work, showing just how thoughtful a person he was. A highlight of this being a Sahara trek he did in 2013 in memory of PCs Fiona Bone and Nicola Hughes.

Aside of work, Jon was a fun and friendly person who always had time for others. He was a family man who left lasting impressions on many people. This has been set up for the family who have been left devastated by his passing.
