Over the Christmas holiday this year we are going out to stay at an ECO lodge in Gambia. While we are there we will be helping out at a local Orphanage. We intend to take out as much as possible and Thomas Cook have given us some extra charity baggage allowance and we have had some sports equipment donated, but the best idea is to buy things out there as you get more for the money.
We have done something like this before when we went to Kenya, little things mean a lot to children especially when they are orphans and the smiles on their faces made it very worth while.
