Story
We are raising as much money as possible in memory of Jonah Armstrong.
Jonah was a 3 week old baby who sadly stopped breathing in his sleep, with no warning signs and no illness.
Sudden and unexplained.
Our local community doesn't have a support group for bereaved parents, who lose a child in any way. We ourselves have suffered 3 miscarried babies and now the loss of Jonah.
We hope to set up a group in time to help support local families, with child loss. This group may be a monthly/two monthly get together for families dealing with bereavement to get together, chat (with siblings welcome).
We also hope to organise more fundraising to help local families with losses gained with bereavement. Such as but not limited to, flowers, headstones & plaques. These are the things you never expect to have to find money for, especially for your own child.
We would love there to be a fund there for a family in need who God forbid ever need to go through something like we have.
We are grieving and in the early stages of this tragic loss ourselves so be patient and kind.
A bereavement group for parents and siblings especially is much needed and I feel strongly with the help of our friends who have experienced loss also that this is something our town would benefit from.
Thank you for reading this far.
In loving memory of Jonah Armstrong.
