Story

On the 28th of July 2019, myself and a team of 6 others will be attempting to complete the ‘Welsh 3 Peaks‘ hiking challenge. All money raised will be donated to Y Bwthyn Newedd which is a located in the Princess of Wales hospital in Bridgend. This amazing team provide the highest standard of palliative care to individuals and support their families during the difficult times. All money fundraised will go directly to this local ward to enhance the patient experience.

The ‘Welsh 3 Peaks‘ will be attempted in a single day (light), including transfers from peak to peak. The initial obstacle is Snowdon which is the largest of the 3 peaks. This will be followed by Cader Idris and finally Pen Y fan. The total hiking distance as per selected routes will be 28km and a total ascent of 2334m

All donations big or small are greatfully appreciated and will make a priceless difference to the care/experience for patients and their loved ones at Y Bwthyn Newydd.

Thank you!
