Story

Hi I'm Jonathan from Lincoln, UK. I have achondroplasia a form of dwarfism. Since birth this has never rarely stopped me trying many various things in life, certainly when it came to sport. In my younger years I have competed at good level in tennis and golf. After competing at the World Dwarf Games in Canada last year and hearing the news that Badminton will be at the Paralympics in Tokyo 2020. I thought to myself it's something to aim for and potentially future games, which I would enjoy greatly and something to strive for.

To have any chances of competing at the Paralympics, I would need to participate in quite a few international tournaments across the world to increase my rankings. After competing Spain in March this year it has spurred me on to go to other events throughout the year in Ireland, Japan, Denmark, France and Australia.
