    Story

I have been privileged to have been given the opportunity to make a difference to Young People in Tanzania in 2018. I will be travelling along with 12 other sixth form students from Thornleigh Salesian College in Bolton to Moshi, Tanzania, to teach in local primary and secondary schools, volunteer in a local health clinic and help with renovation works to local facilities.

In previous years, the Tanzania Project has enabled students from our school to give students in Tanzania an education and an experience that we are so fortunate to receive. To do the same in 2018, we all need to raise £1,800 individually then over £10,000 as a group so that we can take supplies, such as school equipment with us. This is quite a substantial task! Any donation can help make a difference! Sharing this page and helping to spread the word will also help us reach our target.

The group will also be hosting a number of fundraising events in the run up to June, we will keep you posted on how we are doing and how you can get involved in our project.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about the Tanzania 2018 project and I hope you are able to help in some way.

    Jonathan.
