We have set up & are currently running art workshops for refugee children in Northern Greece & urgently need help to continue this worthwhile project.

By now, many of these children know more of their lives in various refugee camps (of wildly differing conditions) than of their homes…& have little or no formal education, structure or stimulation.

We have been running daily English-Arabic/Kurdish workshops in both military-run refugee camps on the outskirts of Thessaloniki & in Goumenissa (a small town near the Macedonian border) for the Syrian children brought there by our sister housing project.

We have so far combined art teachers, actors, playwrights & artists from England, Wales, Greece, the US…& of course Syria. We have refugee artists, parents & translators as part of our team…& it is our hope that they will be able to maintain & expand this project on their own before too long.

All volunteer team members pay their own way & give their own time for free but we need help to continue to provide translators, organise & fund transport to & from the camps and purchase art supplies.
