Story
My mum has been suffering with Emphesima for the past 14 years, unfortunately she had to have her right lung removed this was done in two different operations one in 2007 and the other in 2013 as she produced 38 lesions which were all benign tumours so therefore she only has one and a little bit on her right left. This meant that her life changed dramatically. She can no longer do the things an average 34 year old can do - things we take granted such as walking up the stairs without tiring, picking up the washing and cooking the tea. It really upsets my mum as when I was a baby she even struggled to push me on a swing.
The lung she has now is deteriorating rapidly and her life expectancy is short. There is an opportunity for her to have a lung treatment at the national Jewish hospital , however this is in America and will cost approximately £60,000. I am trying to organise as many fundraising activities as possible to ensure my mum can have this operation and live a healthy and happy long life - a life that she deserves! I would be forever grateful if you could donate and contribute to helping us achieve this!
