I've raised £1000 to Harlows Helping Hand

Sat watching the Virgin London Marathon last year, i got slightly crried away and put in an application for a ballot place!!! Over 400,000 people apply and only 40,000 people are allocated a place. No chance would i ever get in...wrong!!! Received my email in October congratulating me on being successfull!! 16 stone and i couldnt even get out of bed without breathing through my arse!!! This was an opportunity i couldnt pass up, so since then ive been out jogging, did my first 10k and ive dropped some pounds, slowly but surely im getting there.
In the past i've fundraised for Macmillan, National Autistic Society and various other charities. This time i wanted to choose a local charity that doesnt have any government support and doesnt have a ceo on £100k.
In 2016 a family from a local village suffered the unimaginable when their child was taken away from them. Through their pain and grief they launched a charity Harlows Helping Hand in memory of their little girl. The aim of the charity is to provide financial help for funeral or headstone costs to bereaved families who have lost a child. No parent should experience the pain and suffering that hey have and this amazing charity provides some assistance to ease some of the stress at such a horrific time.
Over the next few months whilst training i hope to hold a couple of fundraising events to try and rise as much money as possible for this amazing charity. I understand that there are a lot of people who already have their own chrities they donate to but if you can afford aven a small amount it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
