What is crowdfunding?

Story
In the summer of 2019, I am going on an expedition with my school to Uganda to do community work such as building homes and helping in schools. We are also climbing Mount Elgon, which is a week long trek!. This expedition will be an amazing experience and I am looking forward to meeting people from a totally different culture.
