Story

Josephine‘s life changed on 24 November 2017 (3 days before her daughters 3rd birthday) when she had to have her left leg amputated due to Diabetic Charcot in the ankle. Due to the Orthopeadic Consultant wanting to protect her right leg Josephine has been wheelchair dependant since, although she has recently started her rehabilation towards walking again and getting a prosthetic, however there will always be times when Josephine will be dependant on a wheelchair. Josephine would love nothing more than to regain her independence and in order to achieve this she needs level access to her home and a lighweight wheelchair so she doesn;t have to rely on being ‘pushed around’.

Josephine is a keen petrolhead and wants nothing more than to get back behind the wheel and she has been fortunate to have been able to order her first Motabilty car and the level access and wheelchair would be the final pieces in the jigsaw for getting Josephine back on the road!
