Story

Thank you so much for your donations, we have been overwhelmed by all of your kindness in helping us reach our initial target and supporting the healing of our world. The more we raise, the greater the difference we can make to replenishing our world. Thank you

Josephine Hollingsworth who sadly passed away on the 15th February 2021, was a great believer in caring for and protecting our planet for many generations to come. Josephine with her two young boys always loved nature, whether that be spending time enjoying the countryside or looking after and preserving local wildlife and habitats. For Jo this meant so much, raising her boys to understand how to live in a balanced way to preserve our world through educating and nurturing our boys to value the planet we call home. However; Earth is not just our home, but the habitat of many species of fauna and flora.

“Human activity is now so dominant, that it is disrupting the forces of nature and the vital habitats life needs to survive on Earth. To preserve our planet we need to act now. And if we do that, there will still be time to restore the ecological balance that once made this Earth our perfect planet.” Sir David Attenborough

Throughout Josephine’s stunning life she experienced so many beautiful moments with her family and friends and was always the first to reach out and help others among her local community from being an influential Beaver Leader for local Scout groups, learning sign language to support others in the community, and support teaching with reading at our local Primary school. Josephine also overcame many challenges in her own life including Crohn’s disease and preeclampsia with the premature birth of our youngest son. But Josephine never let this hold her back and gave everything to protect and nurture our family.

Josephine brought smiles to those she met and was proactive in caring for what she believed in. Josephine’s life sadly ended before her time, but now we can continue her legacy by acting on her behalf and making the difference that Josephine would have loved to have done for our planet.

As Sir David has said, whilst human dominance has unbalanced the perfect planet we call home, there is still time to act, time to reverse the damage and time to preserve and protect the habitat, species and climate that gives joy to each of us every day.

With your help and donations we can act now and replant our woodlands and forests. Your donations will go towards replanting trees and replenishing woodlands with conservation schemes like the following charities.

£10 - £20 to dedicate a tree

Raise £2,000 to dedicate an acre of woodland

£2000+ The more we raise the greater the difference we can make to healing our world. Thank you so much for your donations that will go back into replenishing our world and making the change Josephine was so passionate about.

A simple act of kindness now can preserve and save our world for many generations to come.

As Josephine’s legacy (along with the help of her two boys) we would like to replenish our woodlands and restore natural habitats to balance our environment against climate change by replanting trees to heal our world.
