We are raising money for Joseph who was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in March this year. The diagnosis has turned his and his families lives upside down and once Josephs treatment is over we would like him to have some fun with his friends. Raising this money will enable us to make him smile after the dark times he is going through currently. We cannot imagine how this young man is feeling, our aim is to brighten his day.

Until March 2019 Joseph was a normal active 12 year old boy who played rugby, football and of course Xbox! Suddenly he became unwell and was subsequently diagnosed with ostogenic sarcoma (bone cancer). His ongoing treatments at the North Staffordshire Royal Stoke and Birmingham Children’s Hospitals have been a huge strain on his Mother, Father and Sister and have left Joseph feeling drained and ill. The initial Chemo has not worked and this has resulted in Joseph being booked in to have his lower leg amputated on August 19th causing additional issues to overcome. His friends have visited and supported him throughout and when his treatment is finished they would like to spend quality time with Joseph.

The money raised will used to send Joseph on activities and hopefully let a 12 year old forget some of the terrible times he has been through.The fund raising day will be held on Sat 10th Aug at the Talisman Public House on Furlong Road in Tunstall Stoke on Trent. We will have a selection of stalls, a BBQ, bouncy castle, raffles and we hope to raise as much as possible for this young man. There will also be a sponsored chest and leg waxing for few lucky men!
