I've raised £500 to Donations to Mexico's earthquake victims

The past few weeks have not been the kindest to Mexico. We have had hurricanes, earthquakes and tsunami alerts. However this is when I see the kindness in people across the world.
This 19th of September Mexico was struck by a 7.1 earthquake, a date burnt in all of Mexican's memory as it is the anniversary of the earthquake in 1985 that killed over 10 thousand people.
Not only Mexico City is very affected but also the states next to it: Morelos and Puebla, where several buildings, including schools, have collapsed and many people are still trapped.
Although this a terrible situation it has shown that people will always stand strong together. People have been helping non-stop trying to get people out of the rubbles. Which feels my heart with proud!
I am lucky because my family is safe, although I cannot say the same for some friends and acquaintances; the stories keep coming and the outlook is not positive.
Being 8,000 kilometres from home the only way I think I can support is to donate money to support the activities from different institutions like Red Cross, Oxfam or Save the Children, which have been doing an amazing job in this terrible circumstances.
If you would like to support this cause I will donate the money to institutions aiding those in need.
Mexico is strong and it will rise again! #FuerzaMexico
