Story

I am proud to have been selected by the Wiltshire Unit to be part of the UK contingent representing the UK scouts at the 24th World Scout Jamboree.

Jointly hosted by the Boy Scouts of America, Scouts of Canada and the Scout Association of Mexico, the Jamboree will take place from the 22nd July to the 2nd August 2019 at the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in West Virginia, USA.

I will be working hard, taking part in lots of fundraising and training events, in the run up to the trip. My goal is to raise £3,650 over the next 18 months. This will contribute to my attendance at the event and will also allow Scouts from other less fortunate countries to attend, supporting the aim of the Jamboree ‘Unlock a New World’.

The World Scout Jamboree is a unique, international adventure shaped by young people. By attending as part of the UK contingent, we will be able to have a positive impact not only on Scouting but also our local community.

I'm part of the Wiltshire Scouts contingent.

If you are inspired by the potential of the World Scout Jamboree to enhance and develop the skills of the next generation, I invite you to contribute to my fundraising by making a donation.
