Josh Lucas is an integral part of the family at St Margaret's Old Boys Football Club. On Saturday 23rd February, due to an incident that led to a straight red card being shown to the opposing player, Josh suffered a horrific double fracture to his right leg that required surgery at Whiston Hospital. This will mean a long recovery, rehabilitation and months off work.

We are raising funds as a club to support him, his fiancé Natalie and their young son Isaac, through this period. Anyone who plays amateur football will know that we do it for a love of the game, to have a kick-around with our mates on a Saturday afternoon and there is no place in football for what happened in that game. We want to support Josh as best we can.
