In the summer, I will be going to China via Gotoco to teach English in Shanghai. This fundraising is to allow me to put some funds towards going out there and experiencing and helping as much as I can. The food and accommodation for the programme is free, however the flights, vaccinations, visa applications and travel and health insurance is costing over £1000. I have so far attained some funding from my university, but that little extra opens up the opportunity to explore the city while I'm there and not only teach English but learn Mandarin too.
