Weʼre raising £21,964 to fund a trip of a lifetime to Walt Disney Orlando, for Josh Laird who is facing the challenge of a life-limiting illness.

Don't have time to donate right now?

Story

We are trying to raise enough money to fund an amazing trip of a lifetime for Josh Laird and his family.

Josh has had a very difficult time but has bravely taken every setback in his stride. His parents Pete and Vicky, and his brothers Mitch and Benj have supported Josh throughout despite facing every family's nightmare.

This would give them the opportunity to create some wonderful lasting memories as any family would faced with the same situation.

Ideally, this would involve a 14 night trip to the Disney Yatch & Beach Resort along with flights, car hire and attraction tickets.

We plan to arrange a number of charity events to help fund the trip and will provide regular updates via this page.

Any donation would be most gratefully recieved. Let's make this happen for Josh and his family.

In less than a week we have reached the target amount, I really don't know what to say. It's amazing what people can do. These funds will allow The Laird's to share precious family time and make memories whilst continuing to fight this battle. There are still various fundraising activities taking place over the coming months. Once again, thank you so much.

Message from Vicky: We have no words to express how overwhelmed and grateful we are for your kind and generous donations. To be able to take our boys to a magical place allowing us to make unforgettable memories is a dream that’s always seemed a stretch too far, but with all of you behind us, that dream is fast becoming a reality. Our fight is far from over and we won’t give up hope, cancer is up against Team Laird so it’d best be ready for us! Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts, we are truly humbled by each and every one of you xx

Finding the right words to thank everyone who helped to raise over £15,000 in just over 48 hours is an impossible task. Every single donation is a step closer to achieving what seemed an unattainable target. Individually and collectively you are making a BIG difference to a family who continue to be overwhelmed by your empathy and kindness. Let's continue onwards and make this happen for Team Laird.
