Hello

As my parents are closely linked with education and construction I wanted to help those less fortunate than me to have the opportunity to learn new skills in a safe and inspiring environment. I have been very fortunate to attend two privileged schools and I feel strongly that all children should have a right to an education which in turn will hopefully better their lives. Therefore, I am currently a member of a team aiming to raise money in order to renovate a school in Kenya. In February we will be flying to Kenya to rebuild and decorate classrooms, provide new desks and supply the school with basic educational materials such as pens, pencils and books, and for a short time, we will be teaching the children too. We need to raise the funds to set up the school, therefore, this is purely a fundraising scheme and all the money raised from our organisation will go directly to help develop the school.

As a way to help raise money I have decided to undergo a half-swimathon. As a confident swimmer I aim to do this in less than 2 hours on the morning of Monday 25th June 2018. There will be an official with me while I swim to count lengths and ensure I finish the swim in the set time period. I would greatly appreciate it if you would sponsor me to support this cause. Any amount of money is greatly appreciated. My goal is to raise a minimum of £200.
