I've raised £5000 to help me fund my ambition to achieve a professional ranking, the money raised will go towards travel, accommodation and tournament entries.

My journey in tennis started when I was just 6 years old at a small tennis club in stony stratford, I have been faced with many problems like so many people. When I was just 8 I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, controlling your sugars is a task in itself and I now play tennis using an insulin pump and a continuous blood glucose meter.
I would like to thank the NHS for continuing to help by giving me the opportunity to try new methods and the coaching team at Milton Keynes Tennis Club, Dominic Ross- Hurst, Alex Sheehan, and Steve Sumpter and anyone else I have forgot to mention for helping me keep me on the right path. My goal is to achieve a professional ranking within 2 years, my main reason for this is to show other people with diabetes that no matter what you are faced with you can overcome these problems and achieve them. I have travelled the world playing tennis and I believe now I have the right attitude, hard work and determination to make this goal a reality.
