Story
On April 30th, our world was torn apart when I received a phone call with the news that my younger brother Joshua had taken his own life, aged only 17.
As a family, we have not been aware of Joshua having any mental health issues and he seemed the happiest, most outgoing person you would ever meet. Our hearts will be forever broken but I have made a vow that if I can help save just one life, I will.
I am raising money for Papyrus (Prevention of Young Suicide) and Young Minds, the donations will be split equally. Both charities provide support specifically for young people and enable young people to chat via messenger/text 24/7, meaning they can get help and support no matter what day or time.
Joshua was a MASSIVE supporter of Wasps Rugby club and the support from the team has been immense, something Joshua would be so proud of.
Please help save a life by donating now as one life taken by suicide is one life too many. If you can't donate, please share this page and make people aware of the support that is available.
If you're a young person in need of support, please text YM to 85258 no matter the day or time. This text service is available 24/7 and a trained counsellor will be there to support and help any young person. Over 18's can text Shout to 85258 and receive the same service.
