    Story

I'm honoured to be selected to coach athletes leading up to and at the Special Olympics World Winter Games 2017 held in Austria in March. The athletes I will be working with as part of Team GB have worked hard for a number of years to qualify for these games. These athletes have intellectual disabilities and additional needs and the games will be a special event they have been working towards for a long time.
The World Games will have over 3000 athletes from 110 different nations and compete in 9 sports. As a professional ski coach for the last 9 years, my knowledge and experience will contribute to achieving each athletes goals during the games. The role of a coach contributes to changing lives through sport and promoting healthy lifestyles.

As part of being a coach to these inspirational athletes, there is a cost to help the charity take these athletes to the games.

All donations will go towards helping coach the team to reach their full potential and own personal goals leading up to and during the games. The World Games 2017 is a once in a lifetime experience for all involved.

    Thank you for your donation!

Thank you to everyone who has donated! I'm please to announce that we have reached the target set! So a massive thank you again! Here is a photo from our 2nd training camp at Snozone in Castleford last weekend! These are the athletes who will be representing Team GB. I would like to keep the momentum going and raise as much as possible to help the athletes out ensuring they are prepared both prior to the games and at the games. Thanks again! It means a lot.
