Story
Eglwysbach school is a local village school, supporting 72 pupils, and is in desperate need of new children's toilets.
The toilets are in disrepair. They are out-dated, unpleasant and not adequate for the children's needs. The main issues are:
• The cubicle doors in the girls loos do not close at all and cannot be locked so do not give adequate privacy.
• The loos need replacing with toilets of various sizes so children of all ages can go to the loo comfortably.
• Tiling, paintwork and grouting is worn and broken and needs replacing or updating.
Unfortunately there is no money or finance available at County level for this work so the school will have to pay for the renovation of the toilets and only has a very limited budget. This is where the PTA, parents, family and friends of the school can help by giving a few pounds to help buy new toilets and repair the facilities.
We are hoping that the local community and friends will come together to support the school.
Please spare a couple of pounds to help the school!
Spend a penny to spend a penny.
Fel y gwyddoch mae gwir angen adnewyddu toiledau’r disgyblion yn yr ysgol. Maent yn hen ffasiwn, annymunol ac yn anaddas ar gyfer anghenion ein disgyblion.
Dyma’r prif broblemau:
• Nid yw drysau’r ‘ciwbicl’ yn nhoiledau’r merched yn aros ar gau ac ni ellir eu cloi. Yn amlwg ma hyn yn amharu ar breifatrwydd yr unigolyn.
• Mae angen toiledau newydd o feintiau amrywiol fel bod plant 3 oed ac 11 oed yn gallu defnyddio’r cyflusterau yn gyfforddus.
• Mae’r teils, gwaith growtio a’r paent wedi dyddio neu wedi torri ac angen ei adnewyddu
Yn anffodus, nid yw’r Cyngor yn barod i ysgwyddo cost ariannol prosiect fel hwn ac felly bydd yn rhaid i’r ysgol dalu am y gwelliannau, a hynny ar gyllid tynn iawn. Felly fel rhieni, gwarcheidwaid a ffrindiau’r ysgol ein gobaith yw codi arian er mwyn gwella’r cyflusterau. Ein targed yw £3000.
