Story
Last year Josie raised £290 for a feeding project run by some missionary friends in Malawi. She is keen to complete another triathlon to raise more money to support the work of Sandra Skene. Josie's mum helped with the feeding project when she visited Alan and Sandra Skene in Malawi in 2003.
Sandra's feeding project provides food for malnourished children and milk for orphaned babies. The project is based in the south of Malawi (about 7 hours from where we live in the capital Lilongwe) and we are looking forward to visiting later in the year.
Josie will swim 10 widths of the pool (1 of these will probably be unaided - the rest will be with support), followed by a 2 mile cycle on her bike and finally a 1 mile run. Her second triathlon! She will complete all elements on the same day - quite a challenge for a 4 year old and in much hotter conditions than last year!
Please be encouraged to sponsor Josie and help to raise money for a very worthwhile project.
