Hello my name is Joselyn Tarazona and this Christmas I am going back home to visit my family in lima with my husband.

We have set up this page to help raise funds to make Christmas a little more special for the children living at the El Nino Emanuel orphanage in Peru.

As a kid you learn to appreciate what have and be thankful for your family, but this is not the case for every child in Peru and for some, Christmas is just seen as another day especially if you are and orphan. Unfortunately 12% of families live below the poverty line in Peru.

Which is why we are reaching out to anyone who can afford to donate something to some of the children living there.

The El Nino Emanuel orphanage helps around 120 kids aged from 1 to 18 years old, some with a severe disability.

We have contacted the orphanage and told them what we were doing, they were very overwhelmed with happiness and emailed back. They sent back an email with 30 of the children’s names, age and what their Christmas wish was. What they asked for this Christmas was for a new soft toy or a new pair of jeans. The more we raise the more children we can brighten up some of the life of these children this Christmas, who would of otherwise have had nothing.
