Imagine being subjected to violence everyday in your home where you should feel safe, and theres not only you but your children who youd do anything to protect. Living in constant fear of someone may seem stupid to most but imagine being too scared to leave because you fear whats outside that door, what will happen? Where to go? What anout the children? Where will we sleep? How will You survive? Well a single mother of 3 was eventually brave enough to make that step, homeless for 3 months with 3 children, sofa serving there local area so that the children could remain at there school, to still see there friends everday and have that same routine day in day out to try and lesson the effects and impact it has on them. Finally shes offered a house - a disgusting house but none the less shes homeless and takes it as shes just glad that her and her family have somewhere that they can call home again........one day! I can not begin to tell you how bad the house was, and for social housing you dont expect much but it was certainly by far the worse house ive ever stepped foot in, worse part being there was feces, yes feces all up the wall. How can they even offer a single parent whos had a really hard time and got nothing to her name after fleeing such a dirty place to live?! However, that did not faze her, she quite literally put some merrygolds on and got to work, it took her a weeks to clean and that was with help from friends. She is now living in the property and she has nothing!......literally nothing. But she is safe! Her kids are safe! That is the most important thing right?!! To this day she has been strong and carried on without moaning, without breaking down and I honestly dont know if I could do that? And be that strong a person? There is no help out there for her now, not like there used to be. You get nothing! She is such a strong, good, kind person who would never ask anyone for help, shes still going out and helping others with emotional support, and not once has she sat in self pity or let her children see her cry. They are cared for very well, fed, bathed and dressed and She will go without and still never ask anyone for anything hence why I am asking for her. It would be amazing if we could raise some money for the essentials, a fridge, a freezer, a cooker, some beds, curtains and maybe even enough for some carpets/flooring for the childrens bedrooms?! if anyone reading this can spare a few quid it will go a long way for her that i promise you.
