Story
Thank you so much everyone for sponsoring me. I felt very encouraged by all your contributions and it helped me keep going to do it for Providence House.
It was a challenge but I did it!
Many thanks to my amazing sister in law Helen who kept my pace going and to my Musgrave and Barker supporters with their signs and meeting us at different points.
I'll keep the page open for another week. Here is the information below about Providence House.
Thank you all!
Providence House has been serving youth, children and families in South London for over 60 years. It is as important as ever for youth to have safe places to go where they can get the support, encouragement and friendship to build their confidence and shape their future. I am fortunate to have grown up at Providence House and had my life enriched by so many wonderful characters.
For over 60 years, Providence House has been a trusted part of the Battersea community, creating safe, welcoming spaces where children and young people can belong, grow and thrive. Through youth clubs, mentoring, sports, creative programmes and life-changing trips to East Shallowford Farm, they support young people to build confidence, develop skills and broaden their horizons. Every week, they help young people feel safer, more connected and hopeful about their future.
I never thought running a marathon would be within my reach...your donations have really encouraged me to go for it. Thank you!
