Joy Kean was an inspiration and lived life with openness, kindness and delight. This eco-friendly bench will be in memory of her wonderful outlook so that anyone can go to Dunure, her favourite place, remember her, and find some peace.

1 year agoIt has taken a very long time so I wanted to give an update on my mum's memorial bench: it is finally in the process of being installed in a great location next to Dunure Castle. I will send details of the exact location once it has been completed. Stay tuned!

Joy was my cousin,, born in Canada and spending my first few years with her until Ann moved back to Scotland with Joy. We kept in touch and saw each other over the years and she was the kindest woman
