Story
Dear Friends & Family, We here at the JRCS are now in the process of organising our next project and really need your help. A village very close to our hearts and one that I visited on my first trip to Ghana needs our support. Asikam and it's families is an amazing place and somewhere that the JRCS really wants to help. Here are a few photos of the homes in Asikam. Mud & sticks make up the walls with a piece of material as the door. Our next project is to concrete the floors and plaster the walls of as many homes as we can, then paint them to make them brighter and more homely. This work will be carried out by the JRCS members and volunteers. We really need donations in order to purchase the cement and paint, plus new material for their doors. The villagers in preparation will dig their own sand as their thanks for what we are doing for the village.
As you can see this work is vital to keep the villagers safe during the torrential rain that Ghana sees especially in the rainy season.
If you are able to donate anything at all, no matter how small it would really help us ensure the safety and comfort of the villagers and children whom call Asikam their home.

Once again anything you can spare will really make a difference to the lives of our villagers. Thank you so much in advance from both the JRCS Team and the Villagers of Asikam
