Story
Hello I'm Jaspal Singh Bansil, and I am raising funds to organise a free Mega Medical Camp in my hometown of Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India.
Although I moved to the UK in the 1970s, Hoshiarpur has always remained close to my heart. For more than 10 years, I have been involved in various charity work supporting communities in both the UK and India. My dedication is to now continue giving back to the place where I grew up.
Our previous medical camp was well attended and provided essential healthcare services to local families who might otherwise have limited access to medical screening. Building on that success, we are now raising funds for our next community medical camp.
The funds raised will be transferred to JSB Foundation Charitable Society, a registered charitable society based in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India, and will be used solely to organise and deliver this medical camp.
The camp aims to provide free healthcare services, including:
Eye examinations
Cataract surgery referrals and support
Breast cancer screening
Prostate cancer testing
Cervical (Pap smear) screening
ECG examinations
Diabetes testing
General health consultations and medical advice
Donations will help cover the costs of medical equipment, diagnostic tests, healthcare professionals, medicines and consumables, venue arrangements, and other expenses directly related to running the camp.
After the fundraiser has ended, we will provide supporters with an update on the camp, including how the funds were used and the number of people who benefited.
Every donation, whatever its size, will help us provide free healthcare to people who need it most. Thank you for your generosity and for helping us improve the health and wellbeing of our community in Hoshiarpur.
