I've raised £250 to help fund diabetes research (and have bloody good time whilst we do it in a charity football match)

Story

Almost a year after, with the help of those who donated, I took part in Football Aid 17 playing for both Ireland at Sunderland's Stadium of Light vs England and at Carrow Road for a Norwich Home XI I am back again to try and raise some money again.

Football Aid was created as a unique way of raising money for charity and voluntary organisations. Through their parent charity, Field of Dreams' multi-beneficiary grant award scheme, the funds raised from the Football Aid events are distributed to diabetes research, education and management projects plus charities nominated for funding by the Clubs that take part. They have donated over £2.23M since 2001. For more information visit: http://www.footballaid.com/field-dreams

This year I have the privilege of playing for and captaining a West Brom Home XI at The Hawthorns in May.

Last Year we raised over £700, and many thanks to you all who pledged and helped (and sorry for asking again!) but any amount will help a great cause.

Thanks,

Future West Brom Captain, RB and Number 16,

Jack Scullion-Stevenson
