We are raising money to provide a 3 course meal and Christmas celebration for 170 guests to enjoy on Christmas Day, at the Jubilee Centre. This is for people who would otherwise be spending the day alone or people/families who don't have the money for a decent Christmas meal. As well as the meal, we will have fun activities throughout the day, as well as a visit from Santa, bringing presents for everyone. We also have volunteers who provide transport for all the guests who need it.

Every day can be lonely when there is no one to share it with, but somehow being alone at Christmas, makes it feel even darker. We want to be able to, and have changed that for over 170 people from Huddersfield each year and this year is no exception. We show kindness and care, and create an environment where people are valued and feel loved.

Any money raised over the target will be donated to The Branch, to continue their work, that offers support like this all through the year
