Sadly Jamie Sean Turner aged 41 years suddenly passed away on 27th June 2017 at his home in Cae Glas. Jamie has lived in the village for approximately 10 years with my younger sister (Ruth) and their two son's Jack aged 15 years and Adam aged 11 years. Some of you may not know that Jack unfortunately discovered his father's body on Tuesday evening, and he then ran through the village to get the defibrilator but unforunately this was too late for Jamie.

In the days after Jamie's untimely death, Jack asked his mum if they could have a memorial bench where he and Adam can go and spend some time to remember their dad. As Jack said he wouldn't take flowers to a grave. We have made enquiries to have the bench by the river in the village.

Over the summer I took Adam out for the day with his cousins. We went to Rhos on Sea, Adam sat on a bench in a park and told me that they are going to get a bench for their dad. During that afternoon after a game of crazy golf Adam walked up to the benches along the promenade and read them and he took photographs of the benches.

If you would like to contribute towards the bench it would be appreciated by the boys, family and his friends. You may owe Jamie a beer/cigarette/petrol money/favour then again please feel free to put that money into the fund.

In the event that we exceed the target fund then any additional funds will be donated to charity following discussions with the rest of the family.
