The Middle Earth Festival 2018 will be the 4th year I have helped organise it and I'm very proud of what so few people have achieved through dedication and the willingness to spend all year trying to raise money to fund it! None of the organisers or our lovely volunteers get paid but what a brilliant way to spend a weekend! Every penny we make throughout the year goes into our Hobbity piggybank so we can put on the Festival, which is free entrance and this year we certainly had a lot of very happy (and beautifully costumed) people through the gates. Our Guest Book is full of wonderful comments as and organisers it really does make all the hard work worthwhile! We have already started thinking of fundraising ideas as obviously it costs a lot to run the Festival but if you could spare anything, even a pound, every little helps!
