I've raised £1500 to raise funds for Judith Laycock to help patients in the hospital, and train nurses and midwives there

In January2017 i went to Sierra Leone as part of the Lancashire Methodist District mission team. I spent two weeks at Nixon Memorial Hospital in Segbwema. The hospital consists of 6 wards, mainly run by student nurses, after a reduction in staff following Ebola.
Myself and the rest of the team spent time teaching the stuent nurses , teaching subjects such as basic life support, obstetric emergencies, renal problems, cardiac problems and listening skills. We also spent every day on the wards, trying to help in very challenging circumstances, with very little medical equipment or medication.
This October, i have the amazing opportunity to go back, this time I have more of an idea what to expect, and what is needed, we will be spending more time teaching, and trying to help to create the best nurses and midwives to work in the hospitals in Sierra Leone, especially following the tragic mudslides in Freetown in August 2017.
in order to do this, i am asking for help with funding for the trip. If you feel that you can help at all, it would be a massive help and very much appreciated. Any extra funding raised will be used for extra resources to take to help, such as sonicaids for listening to babies, teaching resources etc.
Thank you!
