Yes, that's me in lycra. and I'm doing the 6 points Challenge in aid of the local disabled kids here in Mallorca. The 6 points challenge is a 400km bike ride over 3 days around the whole island - taking in all the mountains. That's 7.5km of climbing - just short of the height of Everest. Hmm.

I must need my head seeing to as I recently did 167km in a day as part of another ride on the island and it was brutal! the 6 points is worse as that had a lot less climbing, and when I signed up to do this before Xmas didn't realise just how hard this would be - 3 days back to back with a lot more climbing and it's now hotter. A lot hotter.

I'd deliberated about not doing this challenge after the 167 as I now know just how hard it is. About the only thought that's going to get me round right now is if I can raise some money so at least somebody will benefit from my suffering!
