I am taking on a personal challenge to walk the South West Coast Path (SWCP) in 50 days.The SWCP is Britain’s longest National Trail, spanning 630 miles (1,022 km) of dramatic coastline from Minehead to Poole. It is also one of the more challenging trails climbing 114,931 ft (35,031 m), almost four times the height of Mount Everest

Whilst doing this I am raising vital funds for 2 charities close to my heart The Ollie Young Foundation. OYF launched in memory of a gorgeous brave little boy who lost his fight against an incurable brain tumour a day before his 6th birthday and just 12 weeks after his first symptoms. Ollie was a lovely cheeky smiley little chap and he will keep me going through these long arduous miles

Also for SSNAP (Support for the Sick Newborn and their Parents) a charity dedicated to supporting the the families on the Neonatal Unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford where I work.

Ollie was also cared for at the John Radcliffe Hospital so it seems fitting that I raise money for these 2 wonderful charities
