My dad suffered from two rare illnesses, pulmonary fibosis and mds. Fibrosis can be cause by enviromental pollutants which in turn can cause scarring Of the lungs. At presant there is no cure for this disease. I want to raise funds and continue to raise funds to enable money can be put towards this research. Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) are a group of cancers in which immature blood cells in the bone marrow do not mature and therefore do not become healthy blood cells. This is also a rare disease of which not all patients are suitable for bone marrow transplants. It is possible these two diseases are hereditary. More money for research and treatmant is imperative to help fight these diseases. Althought rare these diseses are in the increase and need all the the help they can to beat these conditions. Sufferers at end stage for both are dependant on extensive care , carers need a lot of suport as energy levels of the patients become so low patients are unable to do much for themselves. Carers also need emotional and financial support, at this time of need. Please help any donation goes a long way and is support in the right direction.
