Walk of Remembrance – Our Sponsored Challenge

This September, myself and my trusted “sherpa” (aka Gary) will be taking on a sponsored challenge: walking the final 115km into Santiago de Compostela, joined by our American son, Rheagan.

It will be no small feat for us, but every step will be taken in memory of those dear to us who are no longer here—especially a very special little girl, Sofia, who touched our hearts deeply. Sofia was a light in so many lives and an inspiration in the short time we were lucky enough to know her.

Along the route, we will lay some of Sofia’s ashes to rest and place special stones and shells in memory of our loved ones.

We want to honour Sofia by raising funds for her cause, The Bluebell Circle—a project to create a memorial garden for Sofia and for the Halling community.
